## Summary

The NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board is set to award a contract for the provision of Community Ultrasound Services for North-East Hampshire and Farnham patients. This falls under the medical imaging services category, focusing primarily on direct access non-obstetric ultrasounds. The procurement stage is in the award phase, according to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The process involves a standstill period where representations must be submitted by 17 February 2026. The contract, valued at approximately £1,347,046 for a potential 2-year term, is scheduled to commence from 1 April 2026, with responsibilities transitioning to the NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board due to organisational restructuring.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, especially for businesses specialising in medical imaging services and those capable of maintaining high standards of quality and collaboration. As the procurement process has adopted a limited method focusing on a single provider, potential businesses could benefit by preparing for future options to showcase their competencies against criteria such as quality, innovation, and social value. Companies that excel in offering healthcare services with an emphasis on integration and patient-centric care would find this an attractive opportunity to align with NHS standards and contribute to improving regional healthcare.
