## Summary

NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board has issued an intention to award a contract under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) for the provision of Adult Direct Access Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service and First Contact Practitioner (FCP) MSK Service. The services will cater to patients in North-East Hampshire and Farnham. The procurement falls under the healthcare services industry category, specifically physiotherapy services, and it follows a limited procurement method that does not involve prior publication. The contract is valued at £518,794 over its lifetime and is set to commence on 1st April 2026, with an option to extend by a further year. The current stage of the procurement is Award, with the standstill period allowing for provider representations until midnight on 17th February 2026. The lead commissioners will transition to NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, and NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board due to NHS restructuring.

This tender presents growth opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those with expertise in physiotherapy and integrated care. Premier Physical Healthcare Limited, a large-scale supplier, is poised to benefit from this direct award, having demonstrated its capability to meet contract requirements effectively. Businesses that align with the criteria set out by the PSR, particularly those focusing on integration, collaboration, service sustainability, and social value, may find this sector promising for expansion. Furthermore, organisations capable of innovating healthcare delivery methods and ensuring equitable access have a strong position to engage in similar tenders within the evolving NHS framework.
