## Summary

Kent County Council has initiated a public procurement contracting process under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) for the School Health project, classified within the community health services sector. The main procurement category is services, addressing regional health needs, specifically located in Kent around Maidstone. The process has progressed to the award stage utilising a 'Direct Award C' method. Representations by providers are due by 16 February 2026. The procurement does not invoke the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as it follows the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those offering innovative solutions that target health and wellbeing improvements for children and families. The contract awarded to Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, valued at approximately £21.9 million, underscores the demand for specialised health interventions. Businesses capable of collaborating efficiently and offering social value enhancements would find this project advantageous. The opportunity focuses on addressing health inequalities and enhancing the overall integration and sustainability of services, thus appealing to entities with a robust track record in healthcare delivery and service innovation.
