## Summary

UNITED UTILITIES WATER LIMITED is overseeing a significant procurement process titled "WRMP29 Call for Options," focused on planning and improving water resource management in the North West from 2030 to 2090. This initiative falls under the services category, primarily targeting natural water, water distribution, and related consultancy services. The project is in the planning stage with an emphasis on market engagement to gather ideas from stakeholders about reducing water demand or increasing supply by a minimum of 0.5Ml/d. A response deadline has been set for 31 March 2026 at 12:00. The procurement covers multiple regions across the United Kingdom and engages potential suppliers to propose innovations in addressing regional water challenges exacerbated by climate change and population growth.

This procurement process presents a lucrative opportunity for a variety of businesses, particularly those specialising in water technology, infrastructure development, and sustainability solutions. SMEs and VCSEs are encouraged to participate, as the project seeks innovative ideas that align with the long-term objectives of sustainable water supply management. By engaging in this process, businesses can contribute to and potentially partake in future contracts with UNITED UTILITIES WATER LIMITED, fostering growth and establishing long-term relationships within the essential utilities sector.

## Notice

We are developing our plan for how we will manage water resources in the North West from 2030-2090. With regional growth, population change, and the impacts of climate change, our Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP29) will set out how we meet the demand that these challenges create, ensuring that we continue to provide a reliable, sustainable, and good quality water supply to meet the needs of our customers and the environment. We are working in partnership with Water Resources West (WRW), the regional planning group for the West of England and part of Wales, to ensure a consistent approach across the region.
