## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by The Chief Constable for Devon and Cornwall Police, is focused on the provision of "Lift Servicing and Maintenance" services for multiple police forces, including Avon & Somerset, Devon & Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire. It falls under the "services" industry category with CPV classification of "Lift-maintenance services" (50750000). The procurement stage is currently "active" with the tender closing on 20th July 2026. The procurement method adopted is an "open procedure," and electronic submissions are accepted via the Atamis e-tendering system. The contracting process is significant, given the geographical span across UK regions such as UKK1, UKK2, UKK3, and UKK4, covering a total gross value of GBP 1,032,000.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specializing in lift maintenance services. The open procedure favours competitive pricing and innovation, encouraging participation from SMEs and VCSEs, as indicated by the suitability criteria in each of the five lots. With each lot focused on a specific police force, businesses well-versed in managing services across administrative headquarters and high-security environments will find this procurement particularly attractive. The long-term contract periods, beginning in February 2027 and extending to January 2032, provide a stable business growth opportunity, appealing to enterprises that can offer quality service and reliability as measured by a "Cost per quality point evaluation method."
