## Summary

Falkirk Council is reopening its Framework Agreement for the Provision of a Children's Support at Home Service in the UK region of Falkirk (UKM76). This procurement falls under the category of social work and related services, as per CPV 85300000, and aims to deliver flexible support to children and young people with varying support needs. The process has been initiated using an open procedure and is currently in the tender stage. Interested parties must submit electronic responses by 11:00 on 9 March 2026. The procurement consists of two active lots: ‘Complex Support at Home’ and ‘Support at Home’, and has a total value of £1.6 million. The framework was originally set to run from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2024, with an optional three-year extension.

This tender presents lucrative opportunities for businesses specialising in social services, especially those experienced in supporting young people with complex health needs or daily routine management. Providers must have the capability to offer high-quality, responsive services either in the home environment or within the community. Suitable bidders will have established registration with the Care Inspectorate and Scottish Social Services Council, as well as adequate financial standing and the required insurances. This framework allows new entrants, enabling companies to contribute to community benefits and to expand their client base within the public sector. The electronic submission process simplifies participation, making it accessible for businesses keen to establish or expand their footprint in social services within the Falkirk region.
