## Summary

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is in the planning stage of establishing an Electrical Services Framework Agreement targeting the procurement of a wide range of electrical works needed across its estate. This open procurement is categorised under the 'works' industry and is set to facilitate both minor and major electrical services. Slated to commence from the 1st of September, 2026 and running until the end of August 2030, the framework will be structured into two lots, allowing suppliers to bid for either or both depending on technical and financial qualifications. Locations include office buildings, public-facing premises, and transport-related facilities in the UKD72 region, covering the Liverpool area. The upcoming key dates include a future notice on 15th May 2026, making it crucial for interested parties to remain alert for further updates as the bidding process draws nearer.

This framework presents various opportunities for businesses specializing in electrical installation and maintenance work. By opening up two separate lots, the framework offers space for both SMEs adept in minor repairs and larger firms equipped to handle complex projects, fostering a diverse pool of potential service providers. The inclusion of works ranging from emergency call-outs to major facility upgrades ensures ongoing work that could significantly benefit businesses seeking stable opportunities. Organisations capable of operating efficiently within occupied environments or those with experience in large-scale installations and statutory compliance works will find great potential to expand their portfolios and partnerships. This strategic planning by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority not only supports local businesses but also aims to build a robust network of electrical service providers in the region.
