## Summary

The Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust has conducted a procurement process under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Regulations 2023, aimed at enhancing Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Shropshire, Telford, and Wrekin. The process is currently in the Award stage and focuses on expanding service capacity for children and young people across two service lots. The industry category for this procurement is health services, with services expected to commence on 1st July 2026, running for an initial three-year period with potential extensions. Key location for the delivery of services is region UKG2. The standstill period concludes at midnight on 29th May 2026. This open procedure procurement seeks to address long waiting times and improve mental health support quality, integrating local pathways in compliance with NHS standards.

This tender offers significant opportunities for both small and large businesses capable of delivering digitally enabled mental health tools and specialist intervention support. Providers like BFB Labs Ltd and ICS Operations Limited t/a Xyla have been recognised in this process. Businesses specialising in delivering evidence-based interventions, psychological therapies, and digital tools will find prime opportunities here, especially those aligning with NICE guidelines and national standards. The divided lots mean more targeted and specialised interventions, enabling businesses with specific expertise in mental health services for young people to contribute effectively to improving service outcomes, while promoting business growth through long-term governmental contracts.

## Notice

Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Providers to deliver additional capacity and specialist support across Children and Young People's Mental Health (CYPMH) services through two distinct lots. The procurement aims to improve access, reduce waiting times, and enhance the quality and range of support available to children, young people, and their families. Across both lots, services must be person-centred, timely, compliant with NHS standards, and fully integrated with local pathways. The procurement aims to expand choice, improve outcomes, and ensure children and young people receive high-quality, flexible mental health support. The contracted services are expected to commence 1st July 2026 for an initial period of 3 years, with options to extend up to a further 12 months, plus 9 months.
