## Summary

Moray Council is leading a procurement process titled "18/1286 Children's Residential and Education Flexible Framework" for services related to social work and accommodation. This process aims to establish a flexible framework for Children's Residential and Education services in the UKM62 region, particularly around Elgin, United Kingdom. The initiative is under the planning phase with a revised submission deadline of 8 May 2026, allowing for electronic submissions via Public Contracts Scotland. The primary procurement category is services, with key amendments recently updating the submission deadline. The procurement follows the open procedure method and welcomes diversity in submissions, ensuring community benefits as part of the requirement.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in social work services with accommodation to expand their operations within Moray. Providers who can offer trauma-informed, therapeutic, and nurturing care for children and young people with diverse needs will find this framework advantageous. The framework offers different lots such as Residential Care, Residential Care with Education, Intensive Support Residential Care, and Intensive Support Residential and Education. Each lot supports varied levels of care, allowing businesses to align their services with the specific requirements set forth by Moray Council. The emphasis on sustainability and adherence to standards like those of the Care Inspectorate and SSSC ensures the creation of a reliable, high-quality service environment, fostering incremental growth opportunities for aligned business entities.
