The key objectives of any subsequent Provider Selection Process are: * To facilitate the award of a contract for the delivery of an Adult Mental Health Conveyance Service and s136 Sit and Wait Service. * Provide safe, effective, and least restrictive conveyance for a defined cohort of adults requiring specialist mental health transport. * Ensure individuals detained under a Section 136 of the Mental Health Act are supervised by appropriately trained staff, enabling the timely handover from police where an Emergency Department is used as a Health-Based Place of Safety. * The anticipated contract term will be 3-years with the option to extend for up to a further 2-years. The virtual market engagement event will take place between 11:30am and 12:30am on Wednesday 11th March 2026.
