## Summary

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust has issued a tender for the establishment of a framework agreement aimed at acquiring Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) protection suits, Gas-Tight suits, and related products. This public procurement is classified under the industry category for garments providing biological or chemical protection, with a procurement stage currently set at "Tender". Located at Whiting Way, Melbourn, United Kingdom, the procurement process follows an open procedure and is intended to finalise an approved item catalogue available to NHS Ambulance Trusts. Key dates to note include the enquiry period ending on 26th February 2026, the tender submission deadline ending on 11th March 2026, and the award period concluding on 15th April 2026.

This tender represents substantial business opportunities for organisations specialising in producing protective garments and associated products designed to safeguard emergency responders in hazardous environments. With an expected contract start date of 1st May 2026, and a duration extending until 30th April 2030, companies, especially those classified as SMEs or VCSEs, can benefit from established annual pricing by entering the framework agreement. The open procurement method encourages competitive bidding that could lead to growth by supplying products to a broad array of Ambulance Trusts throughout the UK, making it well-suited for firms eager to expand in the public health protection sector.
