## Summary

The procurement process led by Staffordshire County Council focuses on providing community-based day opportunities, particularly within the health and social work services sector. The awards are in relation to a tender initiated under the Light Touch Regime Dynamic Purchasing System (LTR DPS). This tender, identified as IA933, is governed by the principles set out in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. It covers services for individuals with various health conditions and disabilities, aged 16 and over. The procurement process follows a restricted procedure and draws on a selective method, with the latest award having been signed on 31st December 2025. The region primarily involved in the contracts is UKG24, which includes Stafford. Staffordshire County Council serves as the contracting authority, with the award status currently marked as active.

This tender represents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social services, particularly those capable of delivering tailored day opportunities for individuals with specific care needs. Businesses that can adapt to a dynamic procurement system will find this tender appealing, especially those well-versed in competitive processes under selective procurement methods. As the procurement method is selective, enterprises with competitive pricing strategies stand to benefit from potential engagements through Staffordshire County Council's eSourcing solution. Thus, SMEs within the specified industry category are well-suited to compete and expand their operations within the local government sector.
