The work package aims to identify at least 20 opportunity sites to take through to feasibility and business case development. WP2: Community Engagement - Aims to understand how and where to engage communities in renewable energy projects to accelerate community benefit and support for projects in Y&NY. WP3: Planning - Identify and develop a strategy for planning barriers, including challenges in protected landscapes and heritage areas. This also involves engagement with planners across the other work packages. 40 OFFICIAL - SENSITIVE WP4: Feasibility and Business Case Development - This work package will be focussed on the development of feasibility studies and business cases for energy and heat generation projects, building on work already undertaken by the Local Authorities. WP5 - Technology - An analysis and review of the energy generation and storage technologies available and whether certain technologies may be suited to meet the unique needs of the region. WP6 - Financial - The development of financial models to support energy delivery in the region.
