## Summary

Portsmouth City Council is spearheading the procurement of an Integrated Domestic Abuse Refuge and Outreach Service, with the process currently at the tender stage. This initiative, focused on delivering essential social services, is centred in Portsmouth, a region categorised under UKJ31 in the United Kingdom. The main industry category is social work and related services, with the tender officially announced on 22nd June 2026. Key deadlines include the tender return on 31st July 2026 and the contract award scheduled for 26th October 2026. This open procedure offers a significant service contract valued at £6,480,000, emphasising quality and strategic municipal partnerships.

This tender presents ample opportunities for businesses specialising in social work services, particularly those adept in trauma-informed support. Companies that offer comprehensive refuge and community-based solutions for domestic abuse victims, including service provision for children or outreach programmes, would find this tender suitable. Local organisations well-versed in adhering to statutory duties and possessing robust delivery capacity can significantly benefit, with potential contract renewals extending up to six years. The inclusion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs) in the bidding process underscores the council’s commitment to inclusive business growth.
