## Summary

The procurement process for the Building Safety Framework is organised by PROSPER, a public undertaking based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, with Rebecca Griggs as the contact point. The procurement, presently in the planning stage, seeks to establish a multi-supplier framework across various regional sub-lots within the United Kingdom. This engagement concerns Building Safety services, divided into six lots, including consultancy and fire prevention services. The current stage involves planning and preliminary market engagement, with a Request for Information (RFI) deadline set for 5th March 2026, and a prospective contract period beginning on 9th June 2026 through 10th June 2030. The procurement aims to gather insights prior to formal tender documentation release, ensuring proposals from the market align with potential requirements.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, particularly for SMEs that specialise in building safety services, fire prevention installation works, and technical inspection services. With a gross value of £600 million, the framework offers ample business prospects across the UK for providers capable of meeting comprehensive regional requirements. Companies involved in architectural and building survey services or those providing repair and maintenance of building installations will find this a lucrative opportunity to become one of the six suppliers per regional sub-lot. The procurement method involves framework agreements, ensuring stabilized collaboration with the authority and other contracting bodies, potentially fostering long-term business stability and expansion.
