## Summary

Oriel Estates Services LLP, representing a collaboration between Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, and Moorfields Eye Charity, is actively engaged in procuring Soft Facilities Management Services essential for the operation of their new facility in Camden, United Kingdom. This tender process falls within the services category and aims to transform the existing facilities into an integrated centre for eye care, research, and education, emphasising clinical excellence and innovation. The procurement method is selective, employing a Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, encompassing multiple stages including initial participation and subsequent tender submissions, with key dates such as the expression of interest deadline on 27 April 2026 and anticipated commencement of services on 15 December 2026. The total anticipated contract value is £21,900,000, with provisions for potential extensions.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in facilities management services, particularly those with expertise in sectors such as cleaning, security, grounds maintenance, and catering. The focus on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions in a healthcare setting may attract competitive bids, especially from organisations experienced in supporting complex operational environments. The structured multi-stage procurement process, aiming to cultivate a competitive environment, encourages engagement from potential suppliers who can adequately address the public authority's criteria. Companies capable of providing the required services while maintaining high standards of quality and social value stand to benefit from the significant contract opportunity in a landmark healthcare project.
