## Summary

Coventry City Council is currently in the planning stage for a procurement process aimed at maintaining parks services in the Coventry area. The procurement process is categorised under services specifically related to landscaping, civil and drainage works, and park maintenance. As a sub-central government entity, the Council is seeking potential suppliers to engage in preliminary market engagement through online presentations on 12 and 13 March 2026, with a deadline for registration by the end of 13 March 2026 through the CSW-JETS portal. The process is conducted under the legal framework of UKPGA 2023/54, intending to establish a framework agreement, and includes a contract period from 2026 to 2030, with the possibility of renewal until 2034.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses in landscaping, civil works, fencing, and parks maintenance sectors. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) may find this contract particularly appealing given its potential for growth and stability, leveraging the need for consistent maintenance services over several years. Companies experienced in installing and repairing outdoor fixtures such as fences, bollards, and drainage systems will be well-positioned to compete effectively. The engagement process aims to gather insights from suppliers to inform the upcoming tender, potentially shaping the final scope and terms that will facilitate comprehensive park maintenance and improvement works within Coventry.

## Notice

The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice is to invite potential suppliers to attend an online presentation on either Thursday, 12 March 2026 at 10:00am or Friday, 13 March 2026 at 10:00am. The presentations will inform the market about the upcoming tender for Parks Services, which will support the Council in maintaining parks and green spaces and will also be used to gather market intelligence. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: maintenance of paths; repair of grassed areas; installation and repair of bins and bin pads; installation and repair of bollards, gates, barriers, signs, timber boardwalks and fencing; and minor civil works related to landscaping and drainage. Please complete the supplier proforma on www.csw-jets.co.uk searching under Current Opportunities for COV25515 or Parks Services.

### Planning Information

There will be an option to attend one of two online presentations, which will be held on 12 and 13 March 2026, both at 10:00am.
Interested suppliers must register their interest against the project on www.csw-jets.co.uk and submit the Supplier Proforma by 13 March 2026.
Suppliers who do not attend a presentation will still have the opportunity to tender once the Invitation to Tender is released.
