The Authority provides healthcare services to a population of approximately 641,000 residents, spanning seven locality areas: South Cotswolds, North Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, and Stroud & Berkeley Vale. This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) relates to the transfer, handling, storage and/ or final disposition of deceased individuals of all ages, including adults, children, infants, neonates, stillbirths and foetal remains, across all Authority Sites. The services must be delivered in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the deceased and Family Representatives, and upholds the highest standards of dignity, respect, and sensitivity. This services encompasses the following key components: * Transport of Deceased Patients. * Hospital Funeral Services. * Foetal Cremation Services. * Storage for Deceased Persons under Special Circumstances. Additional Services (as required): * Internal Collection and Transfer of Deceased. * Provision of Additional Surge Mortuary Capacity.
