## Summary

The procurement process for the "Pan London Substance Use Programme - London Inpatient Detoxification and Stabilisation (IPD)" is being led by The Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London. This tender falls under the health services category and is located in London, United Kingdom. As part of an open procurement procedure, the process is currently at the tender stage, with submissions closing on 6th July 2026. The initiative is set to support both London residents and those at risk of sleeping rough, through a service model that strategically distributes Inpatient Detoxification and Stabilisation bedspaces across the city. The programme, with a total estimated value of £7.95 million over a three-year contract, aims for sustainable and equitable healthcare services across all London local authorities, with the contract due to commence on 1st January 2027.

This procurement offers substantial business growth opportunities for providers experienced in delivering complex health and social care services. Organisations capable of facilitating medically assisted withdrawal services and possessing strong partnerships with local authorities would be well-positioned to compete. The open procurement method encourages broad participation, ensuring that the selected providers offer innovation, quality, and value, which aligns with strategic health inclusion goals. SMEs and organisations with a strong commitment to reducing health inequalities in urban environments will find this opportunity particularly beneficial.
