## Summary

Manchester City Council has initiated an open procurement process titled "Financial Services Framework" for the provision of various financial services. The framework is separated into three lots: Financial Advice and Support, Tax Advice, and Audit Services. It is intended to run for a period of three years with a possible extension of one additional year. The procurement method employed is the open procedure, and the industry category is financial and insurance services, with operations centred in the UKD33 region. Key dates include a contract start date of 31st July 2026, with awards announced on 11th June 2026. This framework, designed to include a maximum of eight companies per lot, is aligned with UKPGA regulations from 2023.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for companies offering financial consultancy, tax advisory, and auditing services. Ideal participants include both large enterprises and small to medium enterprises (SMEs), given the participation statistics show a good mix of both. The open procurement method allows businesses to compete transparently, fostering a competitive environment conducive to innovation and value delivery. By participating in this framework, businesses can potentially secure contracts that enable them to expand their client base and showcase their expertise within the public sector, spanning Manchester and beyond.
