## Summary

The fire safety consultancy contract titled "Fire Safety Consultancy - Byker" has been awarded by Karbon Homes, a body governed by public law, located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. This procurement falls under the services category, specifically fire-prevention services, and encompasses fire safety aspects within Byker Wall and related buildings. The procurement process is in the award stage as of 24th February 2026, with the contract valued at £354,000. The method used was a direct award without prior publication to the supplier Part B Group, based on evaluation within the National Framework Partnership's Fire Engineer Framework. The procurement approach, tagged as limited, indicates a direct award procedure outside the scope of typical directive applications, rationalised by a specific supplier ranking.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for companies specialising in fire consultancy and engineering services. Businesses that can provide detailed GAP analyses and retrospective fire strategy reports, including fire engineering assessments, will find this contract particularly suitable. The potential for engaging in fire safety management, compartmentation surveys, and property protection systems offers substantial growth prospects. Large-scale suppliers like Part B Group, equipped with expertise in fire-prevention services, particularly within residential and community settings, are well-suited to compete for similar contracts. The provision of fire safety systems and consultancy, along with virtual meetings included in the scope, allows suppliers to leverage expertise in regulatory compliance and site-specific strategies for enhanced safety measures.
