It adheres to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, following an open procedure. The contract commences on 1st December 2026 and covers a duration of 16 months, with options for extension up to 31st March 2030. This tender is a strategic opportunity for businesses operating in the health services sector, primarily those experienced in providing primary care services outside regular practice hours. Companies offering innovative healthcare solutions and able to manage substantial contracts will find this particularly appealing, given its sizable value and potential for long-term partnership through extension options. The procurement favours organisations capable of efficiently delivering out-of-hours care, thereby enhancing their portfolio and reputation within the NHS framework.
