## Summary

The NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board has announced the award of a contract titled "BNSSG ICB- Womankind" under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The procurement focuses on providing health services, specifically a women’s counselling service targeting diverse groups of women with severe mental health needs. The service aims to improve their quality of life and societal participation. The contract spans from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2029, valued at £168,680, with services delivered in Bristol. The procurement stage, 'tenderUpdate,' indicates a post-award status, with the contract being awarded without prior publication of a call for competition, as per the Provider Selection Regime.

This contract presents a robust opportunity for suppliers within the healthcare service sector, specifically those experienced in providing mental health support to disadvantaged groups. Businesses that emphasise innovative and quality health solutions, and have a solid track record in maintaining integration and collaboration within community health services, are well-suited to compete. Given the specific requirements of this service, organisations possessing expertise in mental health counselling and possessing the capacity for delivering long-term care in women-only settings may find significant growth potential. The absence of competition due to the direct award process further indicates potential opportunities for expansion and increased market presence for select providers like Missing Link House, who presently deliver these essential services.
