## Summary

The NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board has announced a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice for the provision of Trans Health Services in Sefton. Governed by the Health Care Services Regulations 2023, this procurement falls outside the scope of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement method is limited, involving a direct award without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract is set to commence on 1st April 2026 and aims to provide comprehensive health services such as care coordination, drug administration, and specialist referrals. The standstill period allows providers to make representations until 10th March 2026, with Helen Quinn as the contact person at NHS Cheshire and Merseyside. The procurement focuses on integrating services related to trans health care, with criteria including social value and health inequality reduction forming part of the decision-making process.

This tender presents significant opportunities for healthcare providers specialising in trans health services. Businesses equipped with expertise in GP-led support, drug administration, and collaboration with NHS England and various support agencies will find the contract beneficial for their growth. The annual contract value of £30,000 highlights a notable investment in improving healthcare services within Sefton, supporting businesses that focus on innovative solutions in service delivery and enhancing patient access to diverse health services.
