## Summary

Sheffield Hallam University is seeking to appoint a single contractor for its Campus Works Programme (CWP), involving minor works and maintenance across the university estate, with projects ranging up to £5 million. The procurement is in the Tender stage with a deadline for submissions on 4th August 2026 at 12:00 BST. The programme, categorised under the works industry, is located in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The procurement follows an open, competitive flexible procedure, and the current tender status is 'active' with a contract period set to begin on 1st December 2026 and extend through to 30th November 2030, with an option for a two-year renewal thereafter.

This tender provides substantial opportunities for construction firms, particularly those skilled in maintenance and repair of building installations, installation of electrical and mechanical equipment, and construction work. With a focus on 70% quality and 30% price in the latter evaluation stage, businesses demonstrating both a high quality of work and competitive pricing will have an edge. SMEs are encouraged to apply, reflecting the University's suitability criteria. This procurement process, leveraging the In-Tend portal, presents an attractive option for contractors looking to establish a long-term relationship with a significant public sector client in the educational sector.

## Notice

The University intends to appoint a single contractor under a framework arrangement to deliver minor works and maintenance projects across the university estate. The appointed partner will be responsible for projects up to PS5 million (including contingency, excluding VAT), with flexibility to deliver selected projects between PS1 million and PS5 million where required.
