## Summary

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Network. This initiative is designed to replace existing contracts with several EV Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and to refine the council's procurement strategy through Preliminary Market Engagement (PME). The project falls under the industry categories of services and works, and it is centrally focused on EV infrastructure development. The procurement is scheduled to evolve based on insights gathered from the market engagement, which concludes on 20th March 2026. Interested parties can submit queries by 12:00 noon on 12th March 2026 via capitalEsourcing. The contract period is anticipated to commence on 1st February 2027 and run through to 31st January 2037.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in construction, electrical goods, software, maintenance, installation services, and public utilities, among other sectors listed under the CPV classifications. Companies specialising in architectural design, engineering services, project management consultancy, and procurement consultancy are well-suited to compete for these contracts. The overall project value is noteworthy, estimated at £40.32 million, highlighting the substantial business potential for those capable of delivering innovative and efficient EV infrastructure solutions. With the council's aim to stay aligned with legislative requirements and advancements in the EVI market, businesses should anticipate a competitive yet rewarding bidding process.
