## Summary

West Lothian Council has initiated a public procurement process to provide youth-related streetwork and associated services across four areas in West Lothian. The procurement falls under the services industry category with a total value of £190,000, divided equally across four lots. The primary locations for service delivery are Armadale, Bathgate, Whitburn, Blackburn, Fauldhouse, the Breich Valley, Livingston, Linlithgow, Winchburgh, Broxburn, and Uphall. The procurement process is currently in the award stage, with contract signing completed on 17th June 2026. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, and the main focus of the tender involves working with youth to address anti-social behaviour through detached, street-based activities.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specializing in youth services, social work, or community support initiatives. The requirements to engage young people in various community settings, offering information and support, create potential growth for businesses adept in community outreach and social intervention strategies. Firms that provide services aligning with harm reduction and youth engagement will find this contract particularly valuable. With an emphasis on both quality and price, businesses with a strong track record in similar community-based projects would be well-positioned to succeed in securing portions of this tender. The project aligns well with SMEs, particularly those capable of providing agile, localized services that resonate with the community needs of West Lothian.
