## Summary

Kent County Council, operating as Procurement Services, is initiating a public procurement process titled "Funding Solutions- Medical" under planning status. The process, which employs tender initiation, aims to create framework agreements for financial leasing services within the medical sector. The engagement phase is scheduled to conclude by 27 March 2026, offering opportunities for pre-market consultation. Situated in West Malling, the contracting authority aims to inform the procurement specification through comprehensive market engagement activities. This preliminary phase will guide future competition design, with substantial focus on ICT and medical equipment acquisitions and leasing. The procurement adheres to the Procurement Act 2023, intending to facilitate transparent and innovative supply strategies in financial leasing frameworks.

This procurement presents extensive business growth opportunities, particularly for firms specialising in financial leasing services and those providing a wide range of ICT and medical equipment. Companies with expertise in CRACOE medical equipment supply, non-CRACOE medical equipment, green technology solutions, and infrastructure like vehicles and modular buildings will find this tender particularly advantageous. The framework agreements aimed at NHS organisations will demand innovative leasing solutions, positioning experienced lessors to establish competitive advantages. Businesses capable of offering economic and flexible leasing models, alongside green technology expertise, are well-suited to compete in this forthcoming procurement exercise.
