## Summary

The NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (LSC ICB), located in Preston, United Kingdom, is managing a procurement under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) to provide individual and family support services for people bereaved by suicide. This process is currently at the award stage, with an intention to award notice published, subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract is expected to commence on 1 April 2026 and continue until 31 March 2028, with a tentative lifetime value estimated at £66,846. Interested parties must submit any representations by 24 March 2026 following the standstill period that began recently.

This tender represents an opportunity for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those with experience in supporting individuals and families affected by suicide. The existing provider, Every Life Matters, who has been satisfactory under the original contract, will likely continue the proposed contract under a direct award process, which opens up avenues for collaboration and offers potential for market growth in this specialised area. Businesses with capabilities in quality service delivery and a focus on social value, improving access, and reducing health inequalities might find competitive advantages in pursuing similar opportunities. Ongoing engagement with the LSC ICB could foster new partnerships and strengthen service integration within the health sector.
