## Summary

Leicestershire County Council has initiated a tender for the "Community Life Choices for Leicestershire 2026" project, classified under the health and social work services industry category and aiming to enhance independence and delay long-term support. This procurement process is active, currently in the tender update stage as of 13th March 2026. The project is based in Leicester, UK, with a tender end date set for 15th April 2026. Organisations have until 30th March 2026 to submit inquiries. The procurement method is an open procedure within a framework that accommodates both with and without reopening competition. The framework agreement is anticipated to last from August 2026 to August 2029, with potential extension until August 2031. Interested bidders must register on the Council's e-tender portal and the Central Digital Platform in order to participate.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses focusing on health and social services to expand their reach and gain steady business over several years. Companies skilled in offering group activities and managed personal assistant services are particularly well-suited for these lots. The total framework value is estimated at £56 million, furnishing significant financial prospects for service providers able to deliver quality support and demonstrate competitive pricing. With elements like travel training and work support included, businesses adept at facilitating comprehensive personal care and community integration can leverage this opportunity to showcase and grow their capabilities in a structured yet flexible framework environment.

## Notice

Leicestershire County Council (LCC) wishes to establish the provision of the Community Life Choices framework to deliver an enabling service that promotes independence and reduces or delays the need for long term support. The core aim of the service is to help people to achieve the outcomes that matter to them in their life, which is focused on the needs, goals and well-being of the person concerned. UK2 Notice - please note that LCC is not required by the Procurement Act to conduct preliminary market engagement and on this occasion did not undertake specific engagement on the current model being procured.
