## Summary

Littlehampton Town Council is actively seeking skilled contractors for the design and fit-out of a community Hub located on the High Street. This tender, categorised under designs, construction work for commercial buildings, and interior design services, seeks to innovate and transform a shell space into a fully functional public facility aimed at inclusivity and adaptability. This open procurement process invites businesses to submit their proposals by 24 April 2026, with the expected award period ending on 6 May 2026. The work is scheduled to commence on 18 May 2026 and conclude by 30 September 2026. With a budget set at £100,000 and adhering to the legal requirements outlined by UKPGA 2023/54, the initiative promises community engagement through strategic planning and execution over the timelines mentioned.

This tender offers compelling opportunities for businesses specialised in interior design and construction work, particularly those proficient in creating multi-functional and inclusive spaces. It allows businesses to showcase their expertise in inclusive designs and sustainability enhancements, alongside offering social value commitments. Small and medium-sized enterprises that deliver measurable community benefits, such as local supplier engagement, and those capable of providing comprehensive aftercare, would be well-suited for this project. Tenderers are incentivised to present proposals that demonstrate significant added value, addressing areas such as environmental sustainability and programme improvements, thus setting a stage for substantial business growth while contributing positively to the community landscape.
