## Summary

The Borough of Telford & Wrekin is planning a procurement process for a specialist provider to offer support services to a young person with complex needs under the Provider Selection Regime Most Suitable Provider process. The procurement stage is currently in planning, with the expectation to initiate the tender through expressions of interest (EOI). The services required fall under the health and social work category (CPV code: 85000000), with an estimated annual value of £620,000. Interested providers should focus on delivering skilled accommodation and support in Cheshire or Staffordshire, although other locations may be considered. Key dates include the release of future notices on 3rd April 2026, with EOIs open for 14 working days from request.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in bespoke accommodation and care for individuals with disabilities and complex health conditions. Providers skilled in addressing fluctuating needs linked to learning disabilities, autism, and syndromes such as Phelan McDermid Syndrome are well-suited to respond. Companies that demonstrate regulatory compliance, robust safeguarding practices, and financial viability will be competitive in this procurement process. The contract involves an in-depth evaluation of provider capabilities followed by careful planning and transition preparation, offering substantial business growth prospects for experienced care providers.
