## Summary

The NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board intends to award a contract for Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services covering North East Lincolnshire. This falls under the Health Services category and follows the Provider Selection Regime, distinct from the typical Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement stage is currently at the award phase with a standstill period activated, allowing provider representations until 30 March 2026. The contract, valued at approximately £11,905,020, commences from 1 April 2026 and runs through to 31 March 2029, with a possible extension of two years. Health Transportation Group UK Limited is identified as the supplier for this contract, which aims to enhance patient access to NHS services without causing a deterioration in their condition.

This procurement presents substantial opportunities for growth, particularly for businesses experienced in patient transport and healthcare logistics. The service requirements necessitate companies proficient in clinical governance, innovation, and collaborative approaches within healthcare systems. Small to medium-sized enterprises in the healthcare sector can leverage their innovative solutions and integration capabilities to compete effectively. While the current process favours an existing provider due to their proven track record, new entrants demonstrating strong capabilities in quality, efficient service delivery, and addressing health inequalities could position themselves favourably in future tenders, benefiting from enhanced exposure within a systematic health framework.
