## Summary

Broxtowe Borough Council is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the design, supply, and installation of gym equipment at two leisure centres. This initiative, located in the Broxtowe district of Nottinghamshire, falls under the goods category within the public authority sub-central government industry classification. Key dates include a webinar scheduled for 14th April 2026 and a deadline for submitting views via a questionnaire on 5th May 2026. Nottinghamshire County Council is assisting Broxtowe Borough Council by acting as the procuring entity, highlighting a collaborative approach to this procurement exercise.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in gymnasium and fitness equipment to showcase innovative, future-proofed solutions. The procurement process invites suppliers to contribute to the pre-market engagement exercise, benefiting from direct involvement in shaping the final specification and procurement strategy. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly those capable of providing seamless multi-site installation services, are encouraged to participate. Suppliers have the chance to establish and strengthen their presence in the fitness equipment market, leveraging Broxtowe Borough Council’s focus on delivering high-quality leisure services for local communities.

## Notice

Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking an experienced supplier to design, supply, and install high-quality gym equipment across two leisure centres within the Broxtowe district. The scope includes providing a comprehensive range of cardio and resistance equipment, optimised to maximise the functionality and efficiency of the available floor space in each location. One of the leisure centres is already operational, while the second is currently under construction. The appointed supplier will therefore be required to work collaboratively with the Council and project stakeholders to develop detailed equipment specifications, ensuring these inform the placement of power, data, and other service requirements in the new facility. This includes contributing to design discussions to help shape a modern, high-performance fitness environment tailored to community needs. In the existing facility, the design will be required to maximise the gym-users journey while working within the constraints of the existing site. Broxtowe Borough Council welcomes bids from suppliers with demonstrable expertise in delivering innovative, future-proofed fitness solutions and providing seamless installation services across multi-site leisure settings.
