## Summary

Powys County Council is conducting a procurement process to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of domiciliary care services in Powys. This tender, classified under "Health and social work services," invites contractors to become part of the DPS, with the arrangement initially set for ten years and possibly extending to 2029 due to legislative changes. The procurement is particularly organised into three distinct lots: Sessional Domiciliary Care, Live-in Care, and services involving the Powys Teaching Health Board. As it falls under the Light Touch Regime, providers are required to be registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales. Interested businesses can submit electronic applications through eTenderwales until February 2029, allowing new providers the opportunity to join via a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. The procurement stage is currently active, with Powys County Council overseeing the process from its location in Llandrindod Wells, United Kingdom.

This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities for companies specialising in domiciliary care services, particularly those keen on expanding their operations in Powys. It's well-suited for organisations able to deliver health and social work services and looking to secure long-term agreements within a structured DPS, fostering collaboration across different sectors. Businesses that can offer sessional or live-in care and engage with the Powys Teaching Health Board may find this tender particularly appealing, as they can vie for one or more of the lots available. Additionally, operating under a restricted procedure ensures a selective procurement method, promoting quality and compliance among bidders, thus ensuring competitive advantages for well-prepared, compliant providers.

## Notice
