## Summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is planning a procurement process for the "Healthy Lifestyles & Wellbeing Neighbourhood Service" aimed at fostering community health through targeted prevention and early intervention. This initiative includes an integrated smoking cessation service, alongside broader healthy lifestyle interventions, and falls under the "health and community health services" industry category. The procurement is currently at the planning stage, with initial supplier engagement scheduled until 2nd April 2026, inviting expressions of interest. The service is based in the United Kingdom, specifically in the UKJ region, with a financial envelope of up to £240,000 per annum. A future contract period is envisioned to start on 1st April 2027, with potential renewal options, and preparatory market engagement activities are underway.

This tender presents ample opportunities for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those experienced in community health and lifestyle interventions. Companies that can offer innovative solutions within the outlined budget are encouraged to engage early through the preliminary market engagement activities. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) are deemed suitable for consideration, highlighting inclusivity in the procurement process. With the prospect of extending the contract and possibly increasing the budget allocation, this tender could substantially benefit businesses aiming to contribute to community health enhancement while expanding their service offerings in collaboration with a reputable public authority.
