## Summary

The London Borough of Croydon is currently in the planning stage for procuring an Adult Healthy Behaviour Service, with the process initiated as a tender under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This procurement focuses on health and social work services in Croydon, UKI62 region, aiming to provide structured support for smoking cessation, alcohol reduction, and weight management among adults. The procurement does not comply with the Procurement Act 2023 but is aligned with the Health Care Services Regulations 2023. A Market Engagement event is scheduled for 16th April 2026 at 2pm at The Braithwaite Hall, Croydon Clocktower, offering potential providers a chance to explore collaboration opportunities. Interested parties can register their attendance by expressing their interest via specified communication channels.

The tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health promotion and services targeted at reducing health inequalities. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector (VCFS) organisations would be particularly well-positioned to collaborate as lead providers and partners, delivering a neighbourhood-based Adult Healthy Behaviours service. This venture could lead to long-term business growth, given the contract period running from September 2026 to August 2031. Leveraging local knowledge and existing community networks could help providers tailor services to the priority groups outlined by Croydon Council, increasing the effectiveness and reach of health improvement initiatives.
