## Summary

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has awarded a contract to Alliance Leisure Services Limited to conduct a feasibility study for creating a Football Training Facility at Marley Activities & Coaching Centre in Keighley. This project, titled "Aire Valley Marley Professional Phase (Marley Upper Site Training Facility)", falls under the industry category of feasibility studies, advisory services, and analyses. The procurement process was direct and executed under 'below threshold' conditions, indicating no competition was involved. The facility comprises a pavilion building, artificial grass pitches, and natural grass pitches, with associated infrastructure. The contract status is active, scheduled to start on 27 March 2026 and potentially extend until 31 March 2027, based on the study's outcomes. Key dates include the issuance of the final report in early January 2026 after completing two project phases.

This tender presents strategic opportunities for businesses within the consultancy and architectural sectors, particularly those specialising in sports facility development. The feasibility study involves phases that assess site capacity, surveys needed, and cost analysis, potentially leading to further commissions for construction if technically viable and financially feasible. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in value engineering, modular constructions, and traditional builds may find chances for growth by participating in consultations and planning processes. Alliance Leisure Services, recognised as a supplier under the UK Leisure Framework, exemplifies a business poised for expansion in delivering advisory services within the leisure sector.
