BNSSG has worked with partners to successfully design, develop, test, and deliver the technical platform for a Secure Data Environment (SDE). With the technical build now complete and tested, the programme was in business-as-usual phase. Which will deliver a high-quality live service to researchers throughout 26/27. To supplement existing in-house expertise, a technical partner to support the delivery of a cloud-based service and help continue to improve and develop our platform. SW-SDE covers 6 integrated care systems (including hundreds of data controllers), who are engaged through a well-established leadership board. The SW-SDE is hosted by NHS Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB). Allocated funding of up to PS200,000 for an initial 12-month contract, with a further PS200,000 available for an optional 12-month extension option which can be enacted at BNSSG ICB's discretion. The procurement process was conducted via the Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud 14 Framework agreement. The prescribed buying process was followed to ensure compliant use of the framework set out below: Search and Long list: Key word search through the digital marketplace Filter and short list: Filter applied to short list suppliers to relevant offers Evaluate: Subject matter experts evaluate service offerings and pricing to determine the successful supplier Consensus: the SCW CSU and BNSSG ICB facilitated a consensus session with evaluators to discuss what scores should be given to supplier offers. This is a Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 and the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This procurement was carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
