## Summary

Scape Procure Limited, trading as SCAPE, is in the planning stage of a procurement process for the SCAPE Construction Works and Services Framework. This significant framework covers construction works and services across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, with multiple lots including complex environments, residential decarbonisation, and construction in Northern Ireland. The project is anticipated to commence in August 2027 and conclude by August 2031, with the possibility of extension until 2033. To facilitate understanding and engagement, SCAPE has scheduled market awareness events in London on 29 April 2026 and an online webinar on 6 May 2026. This process aims to include a wide range of potential contractors and suppliers, including SMEs and specialist suppliers, through a structured market awareness initiative.

This procurement presents a lucrative opportunity for businesses involved in the construction sector, particularly those specialising in solar energy, nuclear reactors, and various construction and installation works. The framework's total value is estimated at £12 billion, with annual turnover requirements set across different lots to encourage a diverse range of suppliers, including consortia and joint ventures featuring SMEs. With SCAPE’s focus on creating a multi-party framework, businesses can leverage this opportunity to expand their presence within the public sector, gain exposure to new clients, and potentially secure substantial contracts that promote long-term growth and collaboration within the industry.
