## Summary

The procurement process led by the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust involves the development of a "Virtual outpatient clinic platform for people with Parkinson’s". This tender falls under the industry category of "Hospital services" and is classified primarily as a services contract with a total estimated value of £972,000.00. The procurement is in the planning stage with services expected to be provided from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2029. The relevant geographical location for this procurement is specified as UKH14 (East of England). This initiative seeks to enhance outpatient services with a digital platform aimed at supporting clinical decision-making for Parkinson's patients, aligning with the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) regulations, particularly appealing as no framework agreement is concluded for its award.

This tender presents lucrative growth opportunities particularly for technology companies with expertise in digital health platforms and healthcare services, especially those focusing on neurological conditions like Parkinson's. Organisations capable of providing integrated digital solutions that facilitate real-time monitoring and patient management are well-suited to compete. The NHS foundation's emphasis on an existing health care provider without competition, under the Provider Selection Regime Direct Award Process, indicates that businesses with established NHS relations or specialized medical solutions targeting specific ailments might gain a strategic advantage. Consequently, this contract could support businesses in scaling their operations in the health sector while also enhancing their portfolio of NHS collaborations.
