## Summary

Plymouth City Council has awarded a contract for an Appropriate Adult Service for young people aged 10 to 17 years. The process was conducted under a limited competition procurement method, classified as being below the threshold with a light touch regime. The contract, awarded to The Appropriate Adult Service Limited, will commence on 1st June 2026 and run until 31st May 2029, with a possibility for a three-year extension. It includes a provision that Appropriate Adults arrive within 1.5 hours of being called, with subsequent report submission to Plymouth City Council's Youth Justice Service within 24 hours.
