## Summary

The procurement process led by the Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult of London focuses on securing services for a Data Migration Engineer, under a limited procurement method due to its below-threshold nature. This tender falls within the recruitment services category and aims to support their ERP implementation project over a fixed term, split into two 6-month work packages. With the award status updated on 10th April 2026, the contract is set to commence on 29th May 2026 and conclude by 30th November 2026. Vector Resourcing Limited has been contracted to deliver these services, with the award valued at £83,400. The milestone signature date is scheduled for 11th May 2026.

This tender opens opportunities for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in data migration, ERP systems, and software integration, offering a substantial role in transforming the data landscape of a leading public undertaking focused on cell and gene therapies. Businesses with expertise in GMP standards, data cleansing, and de-duplication can expand their portfolio and demonstrate their capacity to manage complex data-driven projects independently. The ability to integrate solutions, such as Boomi, into procurement processes showcases potential for future collaboration and business growth in the technical and healthcare sectors.

## Notice

The role of the Data Migration Engineer is to provide expert input to the ERP implementation team for a 12-month project, split in two distinct 6-month work packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration activities from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the process. This role also includes managing data archival and supporting data cleansing and de-duplication efforts, while adhering to strict GMP standards and regulatory requirements. The work will contribute to CGTC's efforts to consolidate its data across the enterprise in preparation for the introduction of managed data services to all parts of the business. At present, CGTC is trialling Boomi integration hub as part of this process, and it expected that Boomi will be the platform for some of the migration work. This is a fixed-term engagement to advise and help CGTC through the data migrations from legacy systems required to make the ERP project a success. The ERP project is split into phases, each of which has deliverables and milestones as laid out below and each of which constitutes a separate package of work to be carried out by the Data Migration Engineer. The Data Migration Engineer is expected to operate independently and will not be subject to direct supervision or control by the client. The Data Migration Engineer approval and suitably qualified substitute to carry out the services, subject to CGTC's reasonable approval, and is expected to determine how the work is carried out and be responsible for managing his/her own time and methods of delivery.
