## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire has awarded a contract for CCTV Maintenance Services across the Warwickshire Police estate, located in Leek Wootton. This procurement process, categorised under the services industry, has reached the contract award stage following a limited competition, below threshold request for quotes from selected suppliers. The contract was signed on 14 April 2026 but officially commenced on 1 April 2026. It is set for an initial duration of three years with potential extensions for up to two additional one-year periods. This contract, valued at approximately £15,574 annually plus VAT for scheduled services, with additional costs for ad-hoc services, is crucial for ongoing maintenance and support of CCTV systems within the specified regions, providing a comprehensive service including planned preventative measures, repairs, and minor works as needed.

This tender represents a promising opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in security solutions, particularly those specialising in CCTV systems and associated services. Lodgefield Security Solutions Ltd, a Birmingham-based SME, has won the contract to deliver these services, indicating there are opportunities for similar businesses to engage in future tenders of this nature. The contract's flexibility to add or remove sites and assets provides a scalable opportunity for companies adept at adapting their services to evolving needs. Businesses with expertise in surveillance systems and a capacity to handle preventive and corrective maintenance of high-security equipment stand to benefit significantly from contracts like this one, especially if they can offer competitive pricing and responsive service operations.
