## Summary

The Department for Work & Pensions (DWP), a central government public authority based in London, is initiating the tender process for its "Live Surveillance" strategy, geared towards video-surveillance systems. The procurement is within the planning stage and is focused on goods related to secure live streaming and surveillance equipment. Interested parties are invited to engage with the DWP by scheduling one-to-one sessions to discuss fulfilling these requirements. Suppliers must register their interest and join the DWP's e-procurement system by 18th May 2026. The contract, with an anticipated start date of 1st September 2026, and an end date of 1st September 2029, offers the possibility of renewal and has a projected gross value of £2.4 million.

This procurement opportunity is well-suited to businesses specialising in secure video streaming, vehicle-based recording technologies, covert surveillance equipment, and data management for video footage. It provides substantial opportunities for growth, particularly for SMEs capable of delivering innovative solutions in surveillance technology and related services. Businesses that offer comprehensive solutions or can fulfill specific aspects of the DWP’s detailed requirements should consider engaging in this tendering process, as it can lead to long-term contractual agreements and collaboration with a major UK government department.
