## Summary

The procurement process for "BT485 - Co-design support for Brunel and Bayswater Regeneration" was carried out by Westminster City Council. It aimed to engage a co-design specialist to facilitate residents' participation in redevelopment proposals for the Brunel and Bayswater areas, located in London, UK. This initiative falls under the services industry category, specifically architectural and related services. The procurement was conducted as an open competition below the threshold, with the contract now awarded and active since 1st June 2026. The contract spans until 31st August 2027, with a possible extension until the end of October 2027. Key dates included the tender period ending on 11th May 2026 and the enquiry period closing on 6th May 2026.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in architectural and community engagement services. The project encourages innovative solutions and community-focused designs, positioning skilled organisations to make meaningful impacts in urban regeneration. Businesses with expertise in co-design and stakeholder engagement stand to benefit most, especially those with capacity to accommodate diversity in community representation. SMEs, such as the awarded supplier "We Made That," can leverage such projects to enhance their market presence and develop their portfolios in the public sector.

## Notice

To provide technical feasibility assessments and early engagement with stakeholders have identified that the Brunel and Bayswater location has the capacity for the delivery of a significant number of new homes and community facilities. WCC would like residents living in and around the Brunel estate to meaningfully participate in the co-design of regeneration proposals for the former Family Contact Centre, Moulsford and Polperro House and Bayswater Housing Service Centre (the site) and have awarded to a co-design specialist. The appointed organisation will be able to utilise a methodical approach to upskill people from a range of backgrounds. This will ensure that the breadth of diversity that is so evident in the Brunel community is recognised and represented as we embark on this important piece of consultation work.
