## Summary

The North East London Integrated Care Board (NEL ICB) has awarded a contract to Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for providing community health services under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract was endorsed by NEL ICB Commissioning Board on 27 May 2025 and officially signed on 20 November 2025, with a term starting on 1 April 2025 and ending on 31 March 2028, potentially extending to 31 March 2029. The procurement, classified within the hospital and related services category, utilised a limited procurement method due to the provider's unique capability, making the directive outside the normal scope. This multilateral contract includes the North Central London ICB as an associate commissioner, focusing on specialised healthcare delivery within the UKI region.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses within the healthcare services industry, particularly those capable of offering specialised and acute services that align with Commissioner Requested Services (CRS) for NHS entities. The sizeable annual and lifetime contract values highlight a substantial business growth potential for large-scale providers familiar with public service contracts. The award methodology favours uniquely capable providers, positioning NHS foundation trusts and large-scale healthcare service providers excellently to compete in such procurement processes efficiently. Stakeholders involved could benefit from understanding the nuances of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 to navigate future procurements effectively.
