## Summary

Manchester City Council is currently overseeing an active tender phase for the provision of "Safe Accommodation Provision for Victims and Survivors within the LGBTQ+ Community." This opportunity falls within the services category, specifically targeting social work services with accommodation. The procurement process is open, with the deadline for tender submissions set at 1pm on 16th June 2026. The service will be delivered in Manchester, and its contract period is from 1st October 2026 to 30th September 2028, with a possibility of renewal until 2030. The procurement process is regulated under UK legislation 2023/54 and follows the GPA agreement. The total value of the procurement is estimated at £539,136 gross, with a planned investment of £449,280.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, especially for organisations experienced in delivering domestic violence support, LGBTQ+ services, housing support, and social value initiatives. The Council is seeking providers who can offer tailored, trauma-informed support solutions for the LGBTQ+ community, aligning with their equitable treatment policies. Both established firms and new market entrants, including those forming consortia, are being considered. The procurement places an emphasis on quality, price, and social value, offering attractive business propositions for specialists in these areas. Furthermore, the inclusive procurement approach prioritises engagement with small enterprises, voluntary community sectors, and social enterprises, making it suitable for diverse business models aiming to expand or establish a footprint in Manchester's public service sector.

## Notice

The primary purpose of the service is to deliver safe accommodation victims and to survivors of DV&A from the LGBT community. It is essential that support within this provision is tailored to the specific circumstances of each household, avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach
