## Summary

Bristol City Council has initiated an open tender process titled "Window Replacement & Associated Works," aimed at improving its residential properties across Bristol, United Kingdom. The procurement process relates to the replacement and repair of windows, doors, and related elements in both low-rise housing and high-rise buildings. Key dates include the tender period ending on 29th May 2026, with enquiry submissions closing on 22nd May 2026, and the award intended by 6th July 2026. This opportunity is part of the public authority's efforts within the works category, with a total estimated contract value of £24,000,000, under the framework agreement spanning four years commencing from 3rd August 2026.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for suppliers specialising in building works, particularly those adept in the installation and servicing of UPVC, timber, and aluminium windows. It favours businesses with certifications such as FENSA or CERTASS for residential installations, aiming to select top providers through a competitive evaluation based on price, quality, and social value. Small and medium enterprises focusing on innovative solutions and efficient service delivery may find this contract appealing. The multi-lot framework provides various avenues, including direct awards in Lot 1 for UPVC windows and mini-competitions in Lot 2 for timber replacements, promoting competition and potential for long-term collaboration with Bristol City Council.

In addition, Bristol City Council requires window servicing for several high rise buildings (five storeys and above), with works taking place across the city.
