## Summary

The NHS Central East Integrated Care Board is set to award a contract titled "Homeless Health," under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR), for delivering healthcare services tailored to the homeless population in Peterborough. This procurement process falls under the industry category of health services, with major activities occurring in the UKH11 and UKH12 regions. While the process is in the award stage, the contract, valued at approximately £230,000, is intended for a duration of one year from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027, pending final approval. Key dates include a potential standstill period starting 24 April 2026, with providers expected to submit any representations by 6 May 2026. NHS England leads the system changes affecting Integrated Care Board (ICB) structures effective from 1 April 2026.

Given the focus on homelessness and health services, this tender presents significant opportunities for healthcare providers with experience in community services and social care. The direct award process C suggests that existing providers with a proven track record in these sectors, such as the Greater Peterborough Network Community Interest Company, which is already active in the tendering process, might find this contract well-suited for their business growth. Companies that can deliver specialised health services and adapt to regional specifics in Peterborough could enhance their presence and expand operations through this procurement. The limited procurement method does not involve prior publication, emphasising the need for well-established providers to be engaged in the existing service framework.

Lot 1

Central East ICB, previously Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB are intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C for a duration of 12 months, from 01/04/2026 - 31/03/2027. The financial values included are indicative and subject to final approval. Indicative annual value is PS230,000.
